Amir Nojoumi, DMD
I am pleased to inform that Amir Nojoumi, DMD has joined the Davis Oral Surgery & Implant Center.
Dr. Amir Nojoumi grew up in Fair Oaks, CA. After having spent several years away pursuing both academic and personal endeavors, he finally relocated back to Northern California. He worked in a group practice in the Sacramento area before joining our team. His surgical interests include dentoalveolar surgery, complex oral rehabilitation and dental implants, orthognathic surgery and benign pathology.
Education & Residency
Dr. Nojoumi completed his undergraduate studies locally at UC Davis and dental school at Roseman University in Utah where he graduated with OKU Honors. After completing dental school, Dr. Nojoumi continued his post-graduate training for 2 years at the University of Washington, completing a General Practice Residency and internship in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. He followed his time in Seattle by working as junior faculty in the School of Dental Medicine at the University of Colorado
Dr. Nojoumi then completed his Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery residency training at the University of California, San Francisco – Fresno, the only Level I trauma in the California Central Valley.
Certifications
Dr. Nojoumi is a candidate for diplomate status with the American Board of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons. He is trained in BLS, ACLS, PALS and ATLS to help better serve his patients.
Interests
When Dr. Nojoumi isn’t treating patients, he enjoys spending his time cooking, playing tennis and skiing as much as possible.
